The Davy Roll Company is the first Cast Roll manufacturer in the world to have it's Quality System accredited to the internationally recognised quality standard BS EN ISO 9001:2000 However it began its lead in the field of quality assurance ten years previously, in the spring of 1992, when it became the first European cast roll manufacturer to achieve the ISO 9002 standard.
Second party accreditations, such as the prestigious VDEh certificate, are also held by the company.

Rigorous product assessments to confirm the roll's integrity are a fundamental part of the organisation's operations. These are backed by comprehensive Quality Procedures and trained personnel.

As a minimum, cast analysis, hardness, ultrasonic and dimensional assessments are carried out, but a whole range of supplementary special product and process checks are also used.
